If the name says UV, it is. Every umbrella in our UV range carries a laminated second layer inside the canopy, rated UPF 50+ and blocking at least 99% of harmful ultraviolet radiation - meeting the criteria of the Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency (ARPANSA).
Limited editions and artist collaborations sit in our Core range unless UV appears in the name. Looking at one and not sure? Ask us and we'll tell you straight.
Some, yes - but not to the same standard. Every canopy blocks a degree of UV, and how much depends on the colour you choose.
Our UV range is the one built for it. An additional laminated layer takes it to UPF 50+, blocking at least 99% of harmful ultraviolet radiation and meeting ARPANSA criteria - the same rating in every colourway. If sun is the reason you're buying, buy from the UV range.
Absolutely. Rain is still the day job. The UV layer is a second skin laminated underneath the canopy, not a trade-off - so a Metro UV handles a downpour exactly the way a Metro does.
Made for rain and shine, at full strength in both.
Our UV canopies are rated UPF 50+, blocking at least 99% of harmful ultraviolet radiation and meeting the criteria of the Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency (ARPANSA). The protection is built into the canopy as a laminated layer rather than sprayed on as a finish, so it's part of the fabric itself.
Not in the UV range. The protection comes from the laminated layer underneath, so every colourway carries the same UPF 50+ rating - choose the one you like and nothing is traded away.
In our Core range it does vary by colour, because there's no laminated layer doing the work.
